Local hotseat multiplayer needs a transition screen to stop players seeing each other's stuff
When playing Local hotseat multiplayer ending turn should go to a blank transition screen where the next player can click ready, otherwise the player sees another players map information. Ideally the transition screen will include the next players name so the current player can give notification.

HotseatOnlyPlayerI will vote this up just because I have a passion for hotseat games, but If this gets implemented at some point I would prefer it to be an optional setting, as I very much like it as it is now.

Philipp@HotseatOnlyPlayer what is the benefit of the current solution. Curious why you would prefer this?

solNomadYes, this is almost necessary option for any hotseat session.

When playing hotseat games in an adventure style, see my request for 'adventure style victory conditions', the interrupts/blanks of the screen breaks immersion and attention. It is just boring to look at, and if it lasts for a while like in HOMM5 it is hard to keep player attention up for late night play. We play hotseat games where we are allowed to observe the others play (big TV and a living room couch), it can be fun to see their stories unfold as well as your own.
As of now songs of conquest is missing several key things to be a proper adventure style game, leaning more towards competitive pvp. If this will hold true forwards you can disregard my request for an optional setting, as then there will be no point to it. If focus remains on pvp only, we will just keep playing civ series, homm series and colonization. -
