Guard Tower should produce the upgraded version of a unit if it's available

  You could link this to the tower upgrade level, lvl1 gives non upgraded units, lvl2 gives upgraded (if unlocked).

  Guard towers need some work, increase their unit growth and max units as well as the balista damage. As they aren't really worth a build at this time.

  There is already another Post about buffing Guard Towers. Maybe via a research option?

  Agreed. Towers seem to fall off very quickly otherwise.

  This would actually give incentive to build and upgrade those weak unit buildings other than just being prerequisites for medium building upgrades and such. It also would give a reason to keep those small unit buildings instead of selling them as soon as you upgrade whatever they were a prerequisite for.

  Agree. Guard towers are almost obsolete. You either have a strong wilder/army nearby so you can defend without them or an enemy has a significantly stronger wilder/army nearby so Guard towers will not help.
  
  My proposal is: Make that guard towers increase the time needed to convert the city and increase the time needed to raise the city (1 round nothing will happen to the city)

  Sugestion: Free tower on upgrade city lv3 and lv5.
  Optional upgrade towers 2 levels
  Level 1 - Weak troop ( Start )
  Level 2 - Weak troop with balistas
  Level 3 - Mid troop with balistas
  
  Soo a city lv 5 with no upgrades
  2xWeak Troop
  With upgrades
  2xMid Troop with Balistas

  Both towers and walls are essentially useless right now. They definitely need big upgrades.
