rgonciarzTrue, or recent wine versions as well. However I experienced some problems applying GOG's patches.
I believe what is desired under this ticket is an official Linux support even if it's run with wine/proton. -

Kovy Da Gobboit runs great on Proton but if we could get native (so I can play it without throttling my CPU at work) that we be great!

VladimirIt works great in Proton, but there are no cutscenes in campaigns. It's a small bug, and probably could be fixed by using another codec.

Claus H. GodbersenI concur: Please create a native Linux version for Songs of Conquest. Even if it runs with Proton, Wine etc. - starting a game that runs directly in Linux without extra tinkering and sandboxing just feels so much better. And your game looks GORGEOUS! I would happily pay a few extra Euros for your extra work if you offered a native Linux version.

joaI'm a Heroes of Might and MAgic lover, and I've just played songs of conquest in a mac with a friend.
I've liked it a lot!
I'd buy it also if a GNU/Linux version would be available. :-/
I don't feel confident enough to spend money and try to play it under wine

Niklas AdminSince it works very well with ProtonDB, I don't see us creating a native Linux build any time soon. The target audience is relatively small, and no one in the office is working on a linux machine - so bug fixing would be a real hassle.
