Thieves' Guild functionality (via Marketplace?)
One feature I've been missing from a certain series of 90s classics is info on how opponents are doing. The more thieves' guilds or taverns one had, the more precise information you got regarding certain statistics currently only visible at the end. Adding this to the Marketplace could incorporate that into the game without requiring an additional slot be used for a new building. From a story perspective, this would represent merchants bringing news from far off places, with more market places bringing more and also more accurate rumors.
This would also provide another reason for building and maintaining the marketplace, since now it would also help inform decisions on where to put pressure in games with multiple players. Who is currently weak and can be eliminated or needs support to keep a rival from winning? Who has too much income and should lose some gold mines? Etc.

KSExamples of the type of information that could be interesting to include in a thieves guild, as more and more information is progressively made available:
- The names and stats of enemy wielders currently in play
- Those wielders' armies and skills (gives you a sense of whether they are currently weak, dangerous, etc.)
- Those wielders' rough location on map (gives you information otherwise hidden by fog of war)
- Enemy financial situation -

ChrisThis is a great idea, now the is no way to compare yourself to another player during the game. It would be nice to check what player to avoid and who is easy prey.
I would consider adding this as an upgrade to Baazar or Guard Towers. -
