Differentiate factions more
Make each faction more distinct, either through mechanics, units, tech trees etc.

MehHope it's just denied because of the format of the suggestion and not the suggestion itself, because if the factions continue to be copy-pastes of each other like they are now then I don't see this game lasting long.

Red DragonHow exactly are they not "distinct enough already? Distinct units with different costs, mostly different spell combos, different upgrade costs for buildings, different focus on special resources...
If you got a decent idea what you actually want and how it would improve the game then maybe you should have elaborated it. -

PiperThey’re about as distinct as aoe civs are distinct from each other. In that everyone is mostly the same underneath with slight differences in various spots. The cost differences are for show and there is no overall concept design within the factions. Abilities are reused or too similar. All the factions use all the resources. There are no unique buildings lol. There’s a clear baseline each unit is designed from and it shows with how similar they feel.
