End Turn confirmation if movement still available
Pressing the hotkey to end turn instantly ends turn, even if you have movement available. This has happened to me so many times already.

VentriI tried the advanced option end turn as a substitute, but having to click through every hero and settlement even when I knew it wasn't needed was annoying. Confirmation just seems like the best option.

SilentAdvanced option in End Turn works very strange - I should click trough my settlements even if I can't upgrade or build anything.

Game kNight PlaysAdvanced end turn is way too advanced - I just want this option; "If I have more movement on a wielder, show a warning"

PhamTrinliinstead of adding a new feature, I think they should just tweak the "advanced end turn" option that already exists to bring it more in line with what is being requested here

Mrop2000I would also prefer the Advanced turn option to work better (it feels very experimental at the moment).
I think the main UI should clearly communicate which Wielders and Settlements have any actions to do in them, and then when all are marked as "done", the end turn button should change appearance.
I wrote a bit about available building/upgrading in Settlements here: https://songsofconquest.featureupvote.com/suggestions/300933/a-way-to-quickly-see-what-you-can-build-in-a-settlement -

KrisI like simple and advanced, but I find I have to swap between a few times each map depending on the situation. A confirmation option would be great - whether for movement remaining and/or empty building slots.
I'd even take a shortcut key for switching from advanced to simple end turn. -

ZoleSnkAlso, if you have resources available to build in your city, the Turn End button could indicate that in some way.

Luxurex MergedTo avoid accidental turn ends.
If a wielder has unused movement points, shoot a yes/no prompt.
Unless he/she is defending a settlement. -

DesocupadoIdeally the hot key to confirm is "E" again or maybe "R".
@ZoleSnk - the tooltip of the town icon should reflect this -

InterDanI kind of assumed the 'advanced' behaviour was a placeholder for a system more like, say, TW:W's, which only highlights characters with movement remaining and settlements with buildings/upgrades available. It's also strange to me that I can queue up a multi-turn move but it won't happen unless I hit 'q' every turn.
It looks like https://songsofconquest.featureupvote.com/suggestions/300249/visible-glowindicators-for-unvisited-and-visited-buildingsinteractable-ingame-ma is still under consideration, so if some visual cue gets adopted for 'refreshed' map buildings it could also apply to upgradeable buildings, keeping the town UI on the strategic map and also maintaining coherence. -

UnkIts a very good one and probably not very difficult to implement. You should have a tiny box opening, "you still have some unspent action point remaing. Do you stoll wish to end you turn ?" and add a tick box for "do not remind me this again", if some people are bother with this feature.

BrudaVooAgree on the following: "You still have some unspent action point remaing. Do you still wish to end you turn ?"
This message must appear. Have spent tons of movement points because of early "end turn" press. -

David desJardinsIt would be nice if the symbol for the end turn button looked different when it will actually end your turn than when it just cycles to the next wielder or settlement. It could look like 🡆 when it's just cycling and then change to the check mark when it's actually going to end your turn.

Moderator AdminWe have now changed the "End turn" button color, so it is red until you have moved all your Wielders. You can also set the End turn behavior to "Advanced" in the options/gameplay menu which lets you cycle between unused Wielders/towns before you end turn. Let us know if you still feel the original issue isn't solved by utilizing the new features/settings.

DannyCame here to say this. I won't presume how easy or difficult it is to implement, but it does seem like some basic UX to prompt the user when they're about to perform an irreversible and potentially damaging action. Also seems like a feature that's been around for ages in similar games (didn't HOMM3 have this?) so really hope this gets approved for the roadmap!

Robert SI don't understand why the "end turn" button doesn't transform into a "next wielder" button, like every other similar game has done for the last decade or two? Why this step back in UX?
